Job Description |
|
|
|
The Technical Specialist is a key element in the design/test/development process. The major responsibilities include setting up and participating in a variety of highly technical engineering tests and measurements.
Requirements:
* Minimum of an Associates degree in electronic, electrical, mechanical technology or equivalent military training or suitable experience.
* Minimum of 2 years applicable experience with Associates degree, 7 years without degree.
* Knowledge of industrial hydraulic and electrical systems.
* Understanding of vehicle dynamics and handling.
* Experience in data collection using and calibrating dynamic and static test instrumentation.
* Ability to read prints, specifications, schematics, and instrumentation (scopes, gauges, spectrum analyzers).
* Basic computer skills.
* Some travel required.
Highly desirable:
* Experience with advanced computer systems such as engineering software (NT/Unix/IDEAS/N-code).
* Experience with sound level testing.
* Experience in government regulatory testing.
* Professional organization membership/involvement.
* Professional license (i.e. P.E.).
* Advanced technical degree. |
